Overview

Whilst studying this package you will develop a diverse skillset in database and network administration, computer user support, and web design and administration.

Upon completion of your studies you will be qualified to work as an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) consultant or as part of an ICT team.

Course Structure

This qualification combines hands-on learning (such as troubleshooting and building and working with computer hardware and software), as well as working on three major project streams: Internetworking and Security, Communications and Web Programming.

 

Early Exit Points

• Exit after 20 weeks to earn a Certificate II in Information, Digital Media and Technology

• Exit after 43 weeks to earn a Certificate III in Information, Digital Media and Technology

• Exit after 93 weeks to earn a Certificate IV in Information Technology

 

Employment Outcomes

Network Administrator or Co-ordinator, Network Engineer, Systems Developer, Network Operations Analyst, Co-ordinator Network Security.

 

Pathway to University
