Course Overview

This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent as a qualified cook who specialises in creating patisserie items, such as pastries, desserts, and baked goods. 

You will be required to purchase materials (including uniform and text books) for the class at an additional cost of approximately AU$1,050.

 

Career Opportunities

At the successful completion of this course, career options may include working in various hospitality enterprises where patisserie products are prepared and served, including patisseries, restaurants, hotels, catering operations, clubs, pubs, cafes and coffee shops. 

Possible job titles include:

  • Pastry Chef

  • IELTS 5.5 General Training (no band less than 5.0) or equivalent
