Academic performance
Rose Bay High is a proud high achieving school with dedicated staff who all demonstrate a commitment to high expectations of themselves and the students. The strengths of Rose Bay High sits within the diversity of subjects it offers to the 700 enrolled students. In 2019 Rose Bay High School won the state title in the Science Titration Competition, won the state title with our High School Concert Band and had 30 Year 10 students sit and pass a Maths Methods (Year 11 subject). Recently students and staff were asked to formulate the narrative of student learning at Rose Bay. The following extract is what was achieved:

Provisions for international students
All international students can access EAL support as required. The school provides a comprehensive induction on enrolment, including ‘buddying’ with a local student mentor, who will help to guide international students around the school and assist with integration.

Student Support
Rose Bay High School’s International Student Coordinator speaks fluent Japanese and resided in Japan for 7 years. The student support team is able to provide high quality EAL support and is able to make connections and build students understanding on the difference and similarities of cultures.
