Living in approved homestay
For homestay arrangements (both private approved or government-managed), the Tasmanian provides Confirmation of Appropriate Accommodation and Welfare, ensuring students’ wellbeing and accommodation meet the highest standards.
Approved families undergo thorough checks, including house visits and safeguarding checks to guarantee a safe and welcoming environment.
Living with guardian
Students coming with a DHA-approved guardian are required to live with these guardians for the duration of their studies. Guardians are responsible for the student’s accommodation and wellbeing.
