Overview:
Prospect High School is a co-educational High School for students in years 7 to 10. Situated in the picturesque city of Launceston, the school is located in a bush setting with views of the surrounding mountains. It has a long history of welcoming international students from across the world.
The school symbol is the eagle and the uniform is based around the colours of green, gold, black and grey.
The school values are respect, optimism, integrity, empathy and fairness.

Student Support:
- At Prospect High School international students are given a high level of support. We have an experienced, professional and dedicated teacher who has specific time allocated to supporting our international students.
International Student Advisor:
- International Student Advisor conducts individual meetings with all international students on a regular basis. These meetings are extremely beneficial to the overall progress of the students as well as their involvement in school life, both academically and socially.
English Language Support:
- A flexible program is provided by a qualified English as an Additional Language (EAL) teacher, catering for each international student during allocated regular tutorials.
Counsellors:
- Students can seek help from their Care Teacher, Grade Leaders, Assistant Principals, the School Social Worker, Psychologist and Chaplain. These people can be contacted through the School Office. External Services can also be accessed via the Social Worker or School Psychologist.
